Founded by Mayank Kapri, a professional musician, composer, and producer, ASA blends realworld industry experience with a down-to-earth teaching style that meets you where you are.

The Team

Mayank Kapri

Mayank Kapri is a multi-instrumentalist composer, producer, orchestrator and singer who brings a unique blend of traditional Indian music training and contemporary production expertise to his mentorship at Audio Sculptors Academy.

A graduate of the prestigious KM Music Conservatory (founded by Mr. A.R. Rahman), Mayank earned his Diploma in Higher Music Education with distinction, specializing in Music Composition, Production & Orchestration. He was awarded the esteemed KM Medal of Excellence for securing top position throughout his music studies.

His professional journey spans major Bollywood productions including KALKI 2898 AD, Atrangi Re, 99 Songs, Pippa, Heropanti-2 among others. Mayank has also contributed to numerous commercials, documentaries, and award-winning short films, showcasing his versatility across different media formats. Mayank is an active singer, composer, producer working with the likes of Mr. A.R. Rahman and Santhosh Narayan among the best Indian industry talents.

Trained in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music traditions, as well as Western Classical music under renowned practitioners, Mayank brings a comprehensive understanding of music theory and practical production skills. His collaborations with industry veterans like A.R. Rahman on projects such as MTV Unplugged and Amazon Prime's Harmony with A.R. Rahman demonstrate his ability to work at the highest levels of the industry.

At ASA, Mayank combines his extensive industry experience with his passion for understanding and simplifying music, helping beginners and enthusiasts develop both the technical skills and creative vision needed for modern music production.

Pranav Nigam

Based in Delhi, Pranav Nigam is an accomplished composer, producer, and experimental sound artist whose work seamlessly bridges traditional acoustic composition with cutting-edge electronic music production. His diverse portfolio spans electroacoustic music, orchestral compositions, and alternative pop, showcasing a rare versatility that makes him an invaluable mentor at Audio Sculptors Academy.

Pranav's academic foundation is built on world-class training from three premier institutions: KM Music Conservatory in Chennai (founded by A.R. Rahman), Middlesex University in London, and the prestigious California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Los Angeles. This unique combination of Indian musical heritage and American avant-garde education has shaped his distinctive approach to contemporary music creation.

His orchestral compositions have been premiered by notable ensembles including the London Firebird Orchestra, German National Youth Orchestra, and the Allegri String Quartet in London. These premieres in London and Chennai during his undergraduate years demonstrate his capability in contemporary classical composition.

During his graduate studies in Los Angeles, Pranav expanded into electroacoustic composition and interdisciplinary collaboration, creating innovative works that merge music with visual arts, movement, and experimental theatre. His music has been featured across major online platforms, reaching global audiences and demonstrating his ability to navigate both traditional and digital music landscapes.

In Delhi's vibrant contemporary music scene, Pranav has become a notable presence through performances at respected venues including Method Art Gallery, Sound Redefined, Mool, and Khoj Studios. His collaborations include working with established Indian classical musicians and theatre artists to create compelling cross-genre experiences.

At ASA, Pranav brings this rich tapestry of classical training, experimental innovation, and real-world industry experience to guide students through both traditional composition techniques and modern production methods, making complex musical concepts accessible to beginners while inspiring advanced creative exploration.
